Photos of new campus leaders

At a Special Board Meeting on May 31, 2023, the Aubrey ISD Board of Trustees approved the hiring of the following new Aubrey ISD campus leaders:

Jon Boettcher - Principal, Disciplinary Alternative Education Program (DAEP)

Boettcher holds a Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration from Texas A&M Commerce and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta in Alberta, Canada. Boettcher's teaching career began in El Paso ISD, with educator roles in Hallsville ISD and Plano ISD. Administrative leadership experiences include roles as an assistant principal in Plano ISD and Frisco ISD.

Anverly Laster - Assistant Principal, Fuller Elementary School

Laster holds a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Tarleton State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management/Human Resources from Texas A&M University. With an expansive list of campus, community, state and national involvement in numerous education arenas, Laster joins Aubrey ISD from an assistant principal role in Waco ISD, with prior experiences leading Curriculum and Instruction for the English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) department in Little Rock School District.

Ryan Tyler - Assistant Principal, Aubrey High School

Tyler holds a Master of Arts degree in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Midwestern State University. Tyler's teaching career began in Burkburnett ISD with additional educator experiences at Albuquerque Public Schools in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Tyler joins Aubrey ISD from a Behavior Specialist role in Decatur ISD.

Carrie Yates - Assistant Principal, Aubrey Middle School

Yates holds a Master of Arts degree in Teaching from Texas Woman's University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Tarleton State University. After an early career in various customer service roles, Yates began teaching in Krum ISD and most recently completed a principal internship after serving as a mentor teacher and grade level team lead.
