The Aubrey ISD Board of Trustees approved the attendance boundaries for Aubrey Middle and Owens Middle school campuses at its December board meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024.
Owens Middle School is currently under construction. With two Aubrey ISD middle schools available for students, beginning with the 2025-2026 school year, it was necessary to create and modify attendance boundaries.
The following details administrative considerations:
1. Both campuses will offer the same general education and extracurricular programs (English as a Second Language (ESL), Gifted/Talented (G/T), athletics, etc.).
2. Students may be assigned a campus through the Special Education Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) process.
3. Eighth-grade students for 2025-2026 can remain at Aubrey Middle School with parent transportation. Siblings must attend their zoned campus.
Kindergarten Kickoff and online registration for Aubrey ISD K-12 students begins April 2025.
