At the April 16, 2025 regularly scheduled board meeting, the Aubrey ISD Board of Trustees approved the hiring of the following new Aubrey ISD district leaders:

Jewelisha Jefferson - Director of Student Services

Jefferson holds a Doctor of Education degree in School Improvement from the University of Texas at Tyler, a Master of Education in Educational Policy and Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Science in Child and Family Studies from Baylor University. Jefferson's teaching career began in Marlin ISD spanning over a decade of service in roles ranging from teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, principal, director of academics and director of student services.

Courtney Siggers - Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Learning

Siggers holds a Master of Education degree in Leadership from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas Woman's University. Siggers' teaching career began in Aubrey ISD over a decade ago, including a role as an assistant principal, and for the past six years as principal of Brockett Elementary School.
