Aubrey FFA to Host Livestock Show and Auction on April 12 The Aubrey FFA will host its annual Livestock Show and Auction on April 12, 2025, at the Aubrey FFA Barn, 415 Tisdell Lane. The event highlights student projects, showcases agricultural skills, and raises funds for scholarships and educational opportunities. The schedule includes:    •   Livestock Show (8 a.m.) – Students will present their animals and demonstrate showmanship.    •   Ag Mechanics Competition (10 a.m.) – Participants will showcase skills through hands-on projects.    •   Buyers Dinner (5 p.m.) – Hosted by the 2025 Aubrey FFA BBQ Team and Officer Team, this dinner offers an opportunity for networking and community engagement. National School Librarian Day is celebrated every year on April 4 to recognize and appreciate the important role school librarians play in supporting students and teachers. This is her 11th year in Aubrey ISD and her 3rd year as the District Librarian. My favorite part about working in the library: “I LOVE doing read-alouds with students and seeing how excited they get about a new story! I also enjoy making book recommendations and helping students find books they fall in love with.
