In memory of Kevin Hamlin
It is with heavy hearts that we share news of the death of former Aubrey Middle School Assistant Principal Kevin Hamlin. A 27-year educator, Hamlin served Aubrey ISD for three years until his retirement in May 2023.
Please keep the Hamlin family in your prayers. Service information will be shared soon.
All Aubrey ISD offices will be closed on Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 28.
At the End-of-Year Celebration, art teacher Delaney Harp of Fuller Elementary School was named the overall district Teacher of the Year. In recognition of this honor, she was surprised as a recipient of the Aubrey ISD Weekend Car Giveaway! Harp received a brand new 2024 Ford Expedition to drive for the weekend, plus a free auto detailing certificate for her personal vehicle. These perks were courtesy of Platinum Ford North Pilot Point, with General Manager Jonathan Franco.
Aubrey ISD End-of-Year Celebration
Aubrey ISD employees gathered in the main gym at Aubrey High School to dine on burgers, chips, fruit, and dessert. Afterwards, attendees made their way to the auditorium for the End-of-Year program.

Numerous staff service awards were presented, celebrating five, 10, 15, and 20-year service pin recipients. The district also saluted eight retirees who achieved a combined 160 years in education.
