The Lady Chaps defeated Anna in 3 sets tonight. We did a good job of starting fast and playing really clean in the first set. We relaxed too much in set 2 and had too many unforced errors. We started slow in set 3, but then really played clean for much of that set, until the very end of the match. We have to do a better job of finishing matches when we have a chance to do so. It was really good to have everyone contribute to this win tonight. We will look to continue to build off of this win as we continue district play on Friday. We will travel to Van Alstyne to play. The varsity will play at 4:30, followed by the JV's.

The Lady Chaps defeated Stephenville in 5 sets last night. We did a really good job of fighting and playing hard last night. I was very proud of the grit and determination that we carried throughout the match. We did a great job of playing for each other. We still had too many unforced errors at critical parts of the match , and we will work hard to clean those mistakes up. I was very proud of us for finishing the match strong. We did a much better job of starting each set fast, and we will look to continue to do that. We were very balanced offensively and defensively. This was a great last match before we head into district play on Friday when we host Frisco Panther Creek. The varsity will play at 4:30 followed by the JV's. Come out and support your Lady Chaps before heading over to the football game.
