On Aug. 26, 2023, Midlothian ISD announced Aubrey ISD superintendent Dr. David Belding as the lone finalist for Superintendent of Schools in their district.
"Dr Belding has been instrumental in taking Aubrey ISD to new heights," Aubrey ISD Board of Trustees President Jim Milacek said. "His contributions to our district cannot be overstated and he will be sorely missed. We wish him the very best."
The Aubrey ISD Board of Trustees will be meeting soon to discuss next steps and will keep the Aubrey ISD community informed.
