The Lady Chaps defeated Gainesville tonight in 3 sets. We did a good job of working on our offense tonight. Everyone contributed to our win tonight. We did a good job of limiting our errors tonight, and that allowed us to be more efficient. It was a really good way to start out district play. There was a program sweep tonight by all three teams. We will be back in action on Tuesday, September 17th as we host Brock at home. The JV's will play at 5:00 pm, followed by the varsity. Come out and support our Lady Chaps!

Earlier this week, Aubrey High School students had the chance to attend the college fair held on campus during their school day. They enjoyed gathering information from their favorite colleges and making plans for their futures.

The Lady Chaps were defeated by Melissa tonight in 3 close sets. We played hard and started each set really well. We have been working on starting fast and we did a really good job of doing that in all 3 sets tonight. We didn't do a good job at all of finishing out the close sets. We had some mental lapses that allowed Melisa to take each one of those close sets. We played hard and didn't allow balls to hit the ground around us, which allowed us to be in all of the sets late. We just didn't finish near as good as Melissa did tonight. We allowed their big block to get in our head some, and need to work to do a better job covering our hitters. We need to make some small adjustments at the end of sets to help us be more successful. The effort is there throughout the match, we just have to do a better job of finishing. We will be back in action on Friday, September 6th as we travel to Ponder to play. The varsity will play at 4:30, followed by the JV's.
