The Lady Chaps are Area Champs after securing an 11-2 victory over Dallas Inspired Vision tonight! Brynnlee Bohannon had 2 goals and 3 assists. Landry Gannon got a hat trick and 3 assists. Macy Childers scored 4 goals and assisted 1 goal. Lilly Stewart scored 2 goals, and Maria Maldonado assisted 1 goal. The girls will advance to the Regional Quarterfinals against Celina on Tuesday, April 2nd. The location and time will be released soon!
We are excited to announce that we are currently hiring for the 2024-25 school year. Positions available at Aubrey High School include Trainer, English Teacher (2 open positions), AV / Graphic Design Teacher, Health Science Teacher, Business Teacher, and Composite Science Teacher / Assistant Boys Soccer Coach. At Aubrey Middle School, we are hiring an Agricultural Science Teacher. For campuses to be decided, we have openings for English as a Second Language positions, including Elementary ESL Teacher and Secondary ESL Teacher. At the regularly scheduled board of trustees meeting, Brockett Elementary School 4th Grade Students Carly Alexander and Chloe Alexander led the Pledge. Additionally, Aubrey High School's UIL 4A Division 2 Cheer Competition State Runner Up Squad was recognized, along with the Aubrey High School Choir State Solo/Ensemble contest qualifiers.
World Down Syndrome Day falls on March 21 each year to raise awareness and provide education about Down syndrome. The date, March 21, signifies the extra 21st chromosome, which is responsible for Down syndrome.
