Our Child Nutrition team, led by Adi Caballero, recently prepared a delicious Thanksgiving meal for our staff and students.
Did you know? Our child nutrition partner, Aramark, provides us with monthly limited time offers, allowing our students to try new menu items. This week, our students had the opportunity to taste a "Spicy Tzatziki Beef Gyro" at the HS and Middle School. The gyro consisted of whole grain flatbread, seasoned beef and potatoes, tomato cucumber salad, spicy tzatziki sauce, and feta cheese.

Today's Aubrey Middle School's Veterans Day celebration featured a virtual appearance by David Allan Brown, author of "Any Service Member." Brown's book is a collection of letters sent to soldiers during the Gulf War in 1991, including a section with letters from Aubrey ISD students. Several of these letter writers (now adults) were present at today's assembly. The assembly also featured outstanding student presenters and performances. A huge shoutout to all our guest. And to all our past and present service members who attended, we honor your unwavering commitment and dedication to our country. Thank you for your service. #ChapHeroes #AMSVeterensDay23
