The Lady Chaps competed in the Farmersville Tournament on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, finishing 8-1 and winning the tournament. Our only loss came in a 3-set match on Thursday against Central Heights. We competed extremely well and learned a lot about ourselves. Battling fatigue from a long week back after Hawaii, we challenged ourselves not to let it interfere with our play. We raised our level of play each day and performed exceptionally well on Saturday. In the tournament final, we faced a strong and sizable Salado team with confidence. Our offense is starting to take shape, and our defense is becoming more fluid. We aim to build on last week's performance as we prepare for this week's challenges.
Kynadi Hall, Chloe Miller, and Baylee Hampton were named to the All-Tournament Team. We'll be back in action on Tuesday, August 27th, as we travel to Farmersville to play. The JV will play at 5:00 pm, followed by the varsity.
