At the Sept. 20, 2023 regularly scheduled board meeting, the Aubrey ISD Board of Trustees approved the hiring of Sara McGee as Assistant Principal at Brockett Elementary School.
McGee holds a Master of Education degree in Reading Education from Texas Woman's University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language Arts from the University of North Texas. With an expansive list of campus and district involvement in intervention, coaching and improvement, McGee moves to assistant principal from a teacher facilitator role in Aubrey ISD, with prior experiences as a teacher, interventionist and instructional coach in Aubrey, Denton and Pilot Point ISDs and a virtual academy in Lewisville.
