The Lady Chaps defeated North Lamar last night in 4 sets. We started out really sluggish and slow in the first set. We struggled to find our rhythm on offense and defense during the first set. We looked much more comfortable in the 2nd set. We finally got rolling and found our rhythm . We looked much for fluid the rest of the match. Kynadi and Annaleise did a really good job fueling our offense. We had another solid defensive night. We had 6 players who recorded double digit digs. We will be back in action on Friday, September 15th as we host Springtown. The varsity will play at 4:30 pm, followed by the JV's.

The Lady Chaps were defeated by Liberty Christian last night in 4 sets. We struggled to find our offensive consistency for much of the match. We had some really great moments on offense, but Liberty made it difficult for us to be consistent. I was proud of our defensive effort in the game. We did some really good things on defense, but we didn't capitalize on our opportunities in the match. We have to find ways to not allow unforced errors to hurt us in matches. We will be back in action on Friday, September 8th as we travel to Sanger to play. The varsity will play at 4:30, followed by the JV's.

The Aubrey Varsity Football game against Arlington Seguin will start at 7:00pm on Friday, September 8th at Chaparral Stadium. AAYSA participants must be lined up by team/squad in the north end zone by 6:15pm.
