Aubrey ISD Celebrates Ribbon-Cutting of West Elementary School
The legacy of compassion, care, and thoughtful leadership left by Clayton "Pete" Lagree and Myra Ann West will live on in the halls of Aubrey ISD’s newest elementary school. On August 5, the West family, board members, and district leadership cut the ribbon to the campus, with entertainment provided by the Aubrey High School Drumline and Cheerleaders and the Pledge of Allegiance led by West Elementary School students.
Speakers at the event included Aubrey ISD Superintendent Dr. Shannon Saylor, Aubrey ISD School Board President Jim Milacek, West Elementary School Principal Jennie Petrasic, and Teresa West Mancuso, daughter of Pete and Myra West. West Elementary will welcome its inaugural group of students on the first day of school, August 14. #chapsgoback2024
