The Lady Chaps defeated Gunter in three sets tonight. We started a bit sluggish in the first set and took some time to find our rhythm. However, we did a great job finishing the first set strong. Our offense and defense looked much more fluid in the second and third sets. Kynadi, Chloe, and Abby had outstanding performances on offense, while Baylee did an excellent job distributing the ball to our hitters. Sam, Gracie, and Kynadi were very active on defense.
We’ll be back in action on Tuesday, October 15th, as we travel to Lake Dallas to continue district play. The JV match starts at 5:00 p.m., followed by the Varsity game.

The Lady Chaps defeated Gainesville tonight in three sets. We did a very good job of getting everyone involved in the offense. We also worked on our transition offense to help us execute some things as we move through the 2nd round of distinct play. Baylee did a great job of getting our hitters the ball tonight. I was very pleased with our defensive effort tonight, we did a very good job of moving our feet on defense. We also did a good job of serving and hitting our spots tonight. We will be back in action on Friday, October 11 as we travel to Gunter to play on our district bye date. The varsity will play at 4:30, followed by the JV1.

The Lady Chaps defeated Sanger in three sets last night. It took us a while to get going in set 1. We struggled to get our offense consistent, but once we did we were hard to stop. We did a really good job of moving our feet in defense and running balls down. I was proud of how our offense and defense played tonight. We just have to continue to work on controlling what we can control. We will be back in action on Friday, October 4th as we finish out the first round of district play at home against Celina. The varsity will play at 4:30, followed by the JV's. Come out and support your Lady Chaps.
