At tonight's board meeting, board members Jana Temple, Benton Bland, and Terry Brockett took the oath of office for their new terms. The Board of Trustees voted to maintain the same officers, with Jim Milacek as President, Colleen Dow as Vice President, and Jody Gonzalez as Secretary.


At this evening's board meeting, Superintendent Dr. Shannon Saylor acknowledged Board President Jim Milacek for his 20 years of service.


Tonight at the board meeting, Fuller Elementary students Kensly Laster (fourth grade) and Makinley Parker (second grade) led the Pledge.


Our next Teacher of the Year (TOY), selected by her peers, is Delaney Harp from Fuller Elementary. She embodies the district’s mission, vision, and values. Let's extend our congratulations to her!


Early Release Schedule


The Aubrey Education Foundation awarded $45,000 in scholarships to Aubrey High School seniors at Senior Night this evening. The 2024 Senior Class was presented and their future plans shared, in addition to recognition for scholarships and honors. Proud sponsors and families presented scholarships to graduates. As we proceed with honoring teachers who embody the district's mission, vision, and values for Teacher of the Year (TOY), our next nominee, chosen by his peers, is James DuMond from Aubrey High School.


Teachers and staff at each campus were invited to nominate a teacher who exemplified the district’s mission, vision, and values for Teacher of the Year (TOY). The results are in, and our first winner, Chelsea Muse, comes from Monaco Elementary School.


We want to honor all the mothers and mother figures who nurture our Chaparrals as they grow, including all the step-moms, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, and mentors who step up daily.

Aubrey Varsity Baseball captured the Area Championship in game three on Saturday with a (8-6) victory over Life Waxahachie. Aubrey forced a deciding game three after a 'walk off' win (2-1) in the bottom of the 9th inning on Friday in game two. Aubrey dropped game one on Thursday (8-5). The Chaps advance to the Regional Quarter-Finals next week where they will face Benbrook. Details will be announced when decided.

Today, Dr. Jonathan Lee, Director of CTE and Accountability, hosted the inaugural CTE Advisory Board meeting. Local business leaders and CTE representatives were in attendance, further strengthening the exciting partnership between Aubrey ISD and the local business community.

On National School Nurse Day, we honor our dedicated Aubrey ISD School Nurses who tirelessly care for the entire school community and play a crucial role in keeping students in school, healthy, safe, and ready to learn.


Fuller students submitted 12 pieces to the Texas Elementary Art Meet (TEAM), the largest elementary art competition in the state with over 500 entries yearly. All 12 pieces received scores in the 'Exemplary' range, the highest possible, with 3 earning perfect scores. As a result, all students will receive medals for their outstanding achievement. Congratulations to Quinn Lucero, Ananya Tanpure, Leah Wadsworth, Onome Odoghoro, Janelle Lucas, Yahvi Saivivek, Bria Johnson, Vincenza Rojas, Keely Watkins, Analeigh Torres, Elena Flaquer-Kraft, and Musaa Ali!


Monaco Elementary School Principal Brett Dobbs fulfilled his promise to be slimed after the campus surpassed their PTO Fun Run fundraising goal of $15,000, raising over $21,000!

Your Bi-District Champs! 5/3/24 Aubrey Varsity Baseball captured the Bi-District Championship on Friday evening defeating Dallas Carter (19-0) in 3 innings. Chase Harrington picked up the win on the mound throwing three innings, allowing no hits, no runs and striking out seven. Hank Nokes and Grant Ramsey both had extra base hits with Nokes hitting a double and Ramsey a triple. The Chaps will advance to the Area Championship next week against Waxahachie Life. Area Round playoff details will be announced once determined.
