Aubrey Battles Hard but Falls to Kennedale in Playoff Matchup
Aubrey fought hard but came up short against a strong Kennedale team, falling 59-48.
The Chaparrals started the game with energy, taking a 12-9 lead after the first quarter. However, Kennedale’s 6-foot-8 post player proved difficult to contain on the boards. Despite a gritty effort in the second half, Kennedale’s rebounding edge and free throw advantage made the difference.
Aubrey closes the season with 22 wins and a Bi-District Championship. This team played with grit and determination all year, making them a joy to coach.
Aubrey Scorers:
• Jaedon Bogar: 15
• Tyler Hightower: 14
• Jadin McMoore: 8
• Nate Dyer: 3
